Füsun Türetken is an architect.
In 2013 she joined Piet Zwart Institute and is core tutor at the Master Interior Architecture: Research + Design [MIARD] program, where she leads the history and theory module and is a graduate supervisor. She is course leader of Visual Culture at the Willem de Kooning Academy. She has been external examiner at MA levels at the DAI in the Netherlands, the School of Media Arts at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and the University of Hertfordshire. She is a fellow with Het Nieuwe Instituut Rotterdam 2016.
Füsun is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Research Architecture, Department Visual Culture at Goldsmiths, London. She has written articles, the latest being „Breathing Space: The Amalgamated Toxicity of Ground Zero“ in Forensis, the Architecture of Public Truth, Sternberg Press 2014 and “A note on the unity of theory and practice in Interior Architecture.”
