Yasmine Libberecht is a coordinator at the Piet Zwart Institute and communication advisor at the Centre of International Affairs. She started her academic career in Fine Arts (BA), then pursued a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies and a Master of Science in Teaching. Yasmine Libberecht has taught internationally from 2020 to 2022, providing lessons in social sciences and arts bilingually NL-ENG, in the Dutch and Cambridge curriculum in MYP and DP with a CLIL method. She switched from secondary to higher education, working as an admissions officer and communications advisor, before advancing from admissions to course coordinator at the Master Education in Arts at the Piet Zwart Institute in December 2023. After 10 months, her responsibilities grew and she became coordinator for all Piet Zwart master programmes, together with Petra van der Kooij. Yasmine Libberecht’s career focus lays in the intersection of education and internationalization, with a strong affinity for arts and social sciences disciplines, through a feminist and decolonizing framework.
