The Master Media Design of WdKA's Piet Zwart Institute is a master course on media and the arts that is operating on an international level. Participants come from all over the world, and the PZI regularly presents itself across the globe. The upcoming Transmediale.08 festival in Berlin is a natural partner.
Transmediale is one of the most important international festivals on digital media and the arts, comparable to ars electronica in Linz/Austria, Siggraph in the United States and DEAF in Rotterdam.

PZI's Master Media Design will be presented in Berlin quite prominently. Student Gordan Savicic is a nominee for the Transmediale.08 Award for his project 'Constraint City' – more information is to be found on his website. Student Linda Hilfling is a participant of the Transmediale exhibition with her video 'Terms of Service' on 'second life' and Flickr. Florian Cramer, course director of the Master Media Design has been invited to moderate one of the festival's panel discussions.
