Riverlands by current Lens-Based Media student Sofie Blom received the Best Film Award at the Beijing International Short Film Festival – International Competition. 

The Jury awarded the prize, stating, “Through a lyrical and essayistic voice, the filmmaker explores her evolving relationship with the archives she gathers and reanimates, demonstrating an anthropological sensitivity to the materials at hand.”
