Dirk Vis is a poet and writer. He has taught at the WdKA for many years, most recently in Theory for Graphic Design. He has also taught at the KABK and other art and design academies across Europe. He has a Master’s degree in Design from the Sandberg Institute. His novel, Paren, was published by Atlas Contact. He is the author of Research For People Who Would Rather Create, a manual of doing research for creative people, which is in it’s 3rd or 4th printing, and has been translated into multiple languages.
