Olivier Otten graduated (BA) from Willem de Kooning Academie, Rotterdam (Interactive Multi Media) and (MFA) Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam (Design Department).
Together with Daphne Heemskerk he is founder of the Rotterdam based design studio High Rise. Sinds 2008 under the name of ‘Selfcontrolfreak’ they are researching the possibilities of interactive video on- and offline.
Next to his own practice, he lectures the Minor Data Design at the Willem de Kooning Academie and taught Interactive Media Design at the Graphic Design department at Royal Academy of Art The Hague.
