The Laptop is Purring on My Lap and I Am Lonely Like a Cat by Ariela Bergman was selected for the Short & Mid-length Competition.
Two 2025 graduates are featured in the “Crossing Thresholds Section” with films “will take you across worlds that challenge your perception of reality.” Unruly, Undead, Un Un: a place safe from all of this chaos by Riccardo Santalucia and Abduction by Yana Lineva were both developed as part of their self-directed research at Piet Zwart.
Our current student Enrico Piffer presents Marsh Birds of the Upper Nile which was developed during one of our first year seminars. Finally, alumni Panida Petchara returns to IFFR with her short film She Cries (The Holy Water).
