Funding Opportunities
Our courses are recognised and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, which means students may be eligible for national or international study grants. Below you will find an overview of funding options for EU and NON-EU students.
NON-EU Student Funding
NL Scholarship – Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences
- Amount: € 5,000
- Offered annually to incoming first-year students only
Eligibility Requirements:
- You hold a NON-EEA nationality
- You meet the admission requirements of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences
- You do not already have a degree from an educational institution in the Netherlands
Eligible Countries:
International students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA includes all EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.

EU Student Funding
The Dutch Ministry of Education subsidizes tuition for EU students, which explains the difference in tuition fees compared to NON-EU students.
There are limited scholarship opportunities within the Netherlands for EU students; therefore, we advise you to explore funding options in your home country.
