On December 1st, 2024 we will open our application process again for 2025-2026.
Application requirements
All applications should include:
- Portfolio of maximum 20 artwork samples (e.g. images, writing, external links to video or sound files).
- The portfolio should be maximum 20 pages.
- Include only 1 artwork sample per page with title, date and materials listed.
- A maximum of 2 images per artwork sample.
- Creative writing can be included as a sample but it must be clearly indicated with title information.
- Do not include extended artist statements in portfolio.
- Motivation statement maximum of 750 words
- CV emphasizing academic accomplishments, exhibitions, scholarships and awards
- Certified copy of Bachelor diploma (with a certified English translation if your diploma is not in Dutch, English, German or French)
- Certified copy of transcripts
- Copy of passport
- Results of the TOEFL/IELTS/CAE (see below for more information)
How to apply?
Step 1: Together with your application you first need to register in Studielink. Please go to the Studielink website and register.
- firstly, search for Hogeschool Rotterdam or Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences
- then select HBO Master
- look for your desired Master Programme
Please note that this process can take a few days before you receive an email with your 7- digit student number. Should you be applying to 2 different PZI Master programs you need to register only once in Studielink.
Step 2: Use our online application tool to upload all the required documents. Please check all the admission requirements.
Step 3: During the application process you will also have to upload academic documents in OSIRIS aanmeld. You will be notified via e-mail later in the admission process.
