Piet Zwart Institute’s MEiA heartily invites you to Affective Pedagogies, a public event hosted by TENT. at Friday March 10. Affective Pedagogies aims to explore the relational and reparative potential of affect around a set of pedagogical questions. Performer and choreographer Raoni Muzho Saleh will lead a call and response moaning session. Scholar Sanne Koevoets will give a lecture on feminist and visual practices of mending. MEiA tutor Çağlar Köseoğlu will offer a brief introduction.

Sanne Koevoets is a senior lecturer at the Humanities department of Erasmus University College and works at the intersection of gender, feminist and media studies. She was recently granted a CLARIAH Fellowship for her project Teaching Visual and Archival Literacy: The Archival Turn’s Pedagogical Turn’s Critical Turn.

Raoni Muzho Saleh is a dancer and performer based in Amsterdam. He studied literary and cultural analysis at the UvA as well as choreography at SNDO. His recent work revolves around collective mourning/moaning and has been performed at de Oude Kerk and TENT.

Çağlar Köseoğlu is a lecturer at the Humanities department of Erasmus University College and a tutor at Piet Zwart’s Master Education in Arts. He published his poetry collection Nasleep in 2020 with het balanseer.
